I have been busy with the subject issues.
Trees
- First, the power company contracted to trim the power lines near our house. It was about time since we had two long outages last winter caused by trees falling on the lines. They cleared approximately 15 feet on each side of the lines.
-Second, THAT meant that there is a large amount of wood available. Since we burn wood for heat, I wanted some of the wood. I took the time to cut, split and stack wood.
Rain
We HAVE now been getting rain. After months of minimal rain, we are getting it. All day Sat. and today. I got very wet splitting and stacking wood today.
Family
A brother plus a sister and family and inlaw were here for the weekend. They helped me with some projects and we did some at the family cabin. It was a productive weekend.
Next week, I will do more prep work for the business.
